Students from two-year colleges (or CSU's with limited research options) who are interested in a science or engineering field are welcome to apply for a spot during the 2026-2027 academic year. Prospective mentees are highly encouraged to read over the FAQ section prior to applying.

The Caltech Connection mentee application form is now closed. Please check back in August for details on the AY28 program.

Those who did apply for the AY27 year, we will reach out to everyone by the end of October with news about the selection decision. Please look out for an email to the address you supplied in your application.

Caltech/JPL grad students, postdocs, and researchers who are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Tiffany Kimoto.

Caltech Connection is a program that is powered by its graduate student and postdoctoral mentors, and it is very much still growing. If you are interested in supporting our effort and want to help us reach more students, please consider giving to our cause. Contact Tiffany Kimoto to discuss options, or give directly via Caltech's online donation portal by selecting "Other designation" and write in "Caltech Connection - Cushing".
